Police have carried out a raid at a suspected illegal puppy farm in Brighton.
Officers were called to a traveller's site on St Michael's Way yesterday (Friday).
The RSPCA and Trading Standards also attended the incident.
It's understood four puppies and a dog were seized.
A Brighton and Hove City Council spokesman said:
"Our Trading Standards team raided four premises on the Horsdean travellers site in Brighton as well as two other properties.
"The investigation is continuing with a view to prosecuting anyone involved in this illegal and appalling trade."
