Police release CCTV after teenage girl ‘kicked in the head’ in Horsham

A teenage girl has allegedly been pulled to the floor and kicked in the head in an assault in Horsham.  The victim, a 17-year-old girl, was out with her friends at about 9.30pm on Wednesday August 28 when they were approached by a group of girls near to the Waitrose store on Albion Way.  Police said the group reportedly became verbally and physically abusive, with two of the girls grabbing the victim’s hair and pulling her to the floor before kicking her head a number of times.  She suffered cuts, grazes and bruising, according to officers.  Officers now want to talk to the person in the image in connection with the incident. PC Jozef Dzwonnik said:  "This was a nasty unprovoked attack and we are appealing for anyone who recognises the person in the image or has any information about it to come forward." Anyone with information about the incident is asked to report it to police, either online or by calling 101, quoting 1768 of 28/08.
