Polling Stations In Sussex Are Open Now

The polls have opened for elections throughout Sussex.

Residents everywhere in Sussex outside Brighton can vote for East and West Sussex County Councils, who spend the lion's share of council tax collected in their areas.

There's also polling for portions of Adur District Council, Hastings Borough Council, Crawley Borough Council and Worthing Borough Council, plus council by-elections elsewhere including two City Council wards for Brighton and Hove.

Several parish councils also hold elections today.

Voting is also underway for the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner, who will set out the way policing takes place in Sussex, and supervise the work of Sussex Police.
