'Pooh-seum' opens its doors in East Sussex

The world's first Winnie the Pooh museum is opening in East Sussex tomorrow (December, 7). Hartfield's Sackville Cottage, globally known as Pooh Corner, is welcoming visitors to their launch day. The museum showcases the work of Alan Alexander Milne and Ernest Howard Shepard, the likes of Pooh bear and his friends, historical 'Pooh-phernalia', the life of the real Christopher 'Robin' Milne and much more. Presenter, Gyles Brandreth, and friend of the real Christopher 'Robin' Milne, will be opening the doors at midday. Over 100 years of the Milne family, 95 years of the bear himself, and more than 300 years of Hartfield's Sackville Cottage will be celebrated. Winnie the Pooh fanatics can also enjoy a walk through the '100 Acre Wood' (Ashdown Forest) and play pooh sticks on 'poohsticks bridge'.
