A parachutist has reportedly crashed during a display at the Airbourne festival in Eastbourne this afternoon (Friday, 16). Eyewitnesses in the past hour reported an incident involving a single parachutist doing a 'spin' in 'windy' conditions, before crash-landing onto the pavement on the town's seafront.

Further eyewitnesses reported the parachutist was 'fine' and walked away with a 'round of applause'.He’s fine now. We saw him get up and walk away with a huge round of applause from us all 👏
