Resident Attacked By Burglars In Littlehampton

A man has been left needing hospital treatment after two men entered a property in Littlehampton last night (Thursday 11).

Police said the pair, one carrying a metal pole, entered the premises in Southfields Road shortly after 7.30pm. 

A male occupant was left with head and foot injuries after being assaulted, and others in the home were reportedly threatened.

Officers describe one suspect as white British, over 6’, of skinny build and wearing a dark hoody. He was carrying a metal pole.

The second suspect is described as white British, about 5’10”, with fair, curly hair and wielding a knife.

Both were wearing snoods.

Police are also linking a Volkswagen Passat car as the potential getaway vehicle for the attackers.

The motivation is currently unknown.
