An igloo village on Hove seafront is closing permanently as a result of new coronavirus restrictions.
The village was set up in response to previous restrictions, offering a covid-secure way for households or bubbles to eat out.
Owner Luke Davis said the igloos were up and ready to go in October, before the country was plunged into another national lockdown.
Now, after Brighton and Hove was placed into Tier 4 on Boxing Day, the decision has been made to shut the village permanently.
Although, for £1,300 you could buy your very own igloo including a table and chairs for six, a sheepskin rug and fairy lights.
The move comes as Mr. Davis waits to find out whether he will be granted a permanent drinks licence for Rockwater's wooden shacks on the promenade.
He's supported by a petition which has been signed by more than 17,000 people.
