Thousands of items of personal protective equipment are being donated to Eastbourne DGH. Students at Hailsham Community College organised the drive in just 24 hours and were supported by pupils at Willingdon Community School, Ratton School, Cavendish School, The Eastbourne Academy and St Catherine's College. Between them they collected: 120 wrap around fully covering goggles 700 medical glasses 2000 pairs of gloves sanitising hand wash/gel The items will help those working on the frontline of the NHS during the coronavirus outbreak.
