The University of Sussex has confirmed a second individual associated with the University has tested positive for coronavirus. In a statement on the university's website, the organisation said the person is currently self-isolating off campus and the university is in close contact with Public Health England (PHE) about the case. Four people have now died from the virus in the UK, with 319 people diagnosed. The university said PHE had not asked for any special measures to be put in place so the campus remains open at this time. A spokesperson said: "The safety and wellbeing of all of our students and staff is the University’s top priority. "That is why we have stringent plans and procedures in place to deal with all eventualities. "We also continue to ensure that there is a very good flow of information between the University and health and sector bodies."
