Police are re-appealing for witnesses to a serious assault inside Cameo nightclub, Eastbourne, which took place in August.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was at the club with friends between 11.30pm on Saturday, August 21 and around 3am on Sunday, when he became involved in an altercation with four men.
After a brief conversation the victim was head-butted, causing a fracture to his eye socket.
He was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital and is now undergoing specials treatment.
A 38-year-old man has attended a voluntary interview while officers believe more people are involved.
Investigating officer Fareed Camar said
“We would like to talk to anyone who was at the nightclub in Langney Road between 2am and 3.15am on the Sunday (August 22).”
