A 56-year-old man is in hospital with head injuries after a collision in West Wittering on Monday (February 8).
Police said the local man was struck while walking along the B2179, close to its junction with Itchenor Road, at around 6.19am.
According to officers, the incident involved a silver Ford Fiesta.
The pedestrian remained in hospital on Monday evening.
Anyone with any information about the collision is urged to contact 1010 quoting serial 108 of 08/02.
