Sky broadband fault affecting Sussex

A major broadband provider said its engineers are trying to fix a fault affecting much of south east England including Sussex today (March 5). Sky Broadband staff have explained a break in a fibre cable has left many customers without service.

UPDATE: South East England & Isle of Wight We understand from our onsite engineers that the problem has been caused by a fibre-cable break. Repair work is underway and we'll provide an update on progress soon. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. https://t.co/YXZ1fbjB3g

— Sky Help Team (@SkyHelpTeam) March 5, 2020 They haven't said how long repairs will take, which has caused some customers to express their frustration.

Sky broadband was supposed to be down midnight to 6am, it went down about 11pm and still isn't up at 11am. I have sooooo much work to do :(
