Spectators Return For This Bank Holiday Weekend's Horse Trials

Competitors and spectators will return to Borde Hill Parkland this Bank Holiday weekend for horse trials, marking the return of British Eventing.

Last year British Eventing organised a ‘behind closed doors’ competition because of the pandemic. But this year (on 29-30 May) spectators return by pre-booked admission ticket only, following implementation of government-approved protocol and controlled numbers.

Set in a Grade II* listed parkland, spectators will see more than 250 rider and horse combinations each day, as three phases of competition unfold, including dressage, show jumping and cross country.

Professional riders will compete against up-and-coming locals at different levels throughout the weekend.

The Horse Trials will be open to spectators between 9am and 5.30pm and tickets must be pre-booked online at www.bordehillhorsetrials.com.
