An eight-year-old girl from St Leonards has had her hair cut, in a bid to raise money for a much-needed specialised wheelchair, and to help children with hairloss via the Little Princess Trust.
As previously reported by More Radio, Summer Finlay - who has Spina Bifida and is paralysed from the chest down - decided to take the chop in order to raise money for a specialised wheelchair to allow her to progress in her favourite sport, Wheelchair BMX.
Along with the hopes of raising money, Summer also wanted to help other children, and decided to donate ten inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust.
Summer has so far raised £550 towards her target, you can donate and find more information here.
