An 11-year-old fundraiser from Sussex is set to embark upon her latest act of kindness.
Lilly Porter has completed six fundraisers already, and December 31 will see her climb Ben Nevis in Scotland to raise money for a leading children's charity.
The trek will see Lilly take on the 4,411 feet high Scottish mountain — the highest alp in the UK — to raise money for Great Ormand Street Hospital.
She will also be donating 60 Christmas presents to her local community through the ‘Surviving the Streets' toy appeal in Hastings.

Lilly said:
"It makes me happy, knowing I have done all I can to help.
"I personally don’t know any children who are poorly, in hospitals or receiving treatment, but I have seen their social media and it makes me really sad inside.
"I hope I can make a difference in these children’s lives no matter how small of a difference that may be.
"I am fortunate I can help them and their families.
"Fundraising is very important to me and I definitely believe it’s cool to be kind: no child should be suffering."
Not one to rest on her laurels, Easter 2023 will see Lilly cycling around 500 miles from Hastings in East Sussex to Newhaven ferry and final destination Geneva in Switzerland.

Since August 2021 she has raised £1,540 for various charities, with more than 90% of this going to young people.
