Two people in Selsey have been arrested on suspicion of being involved with drug-dealing.
Police said the arrests followed a vehicle stop on Bonnar Road, which officers searched under the provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
On doing so, they recovered a quantity of cannabis along with cash.
Officers added that the vehicle's driver failed a roadside drug-wipe test.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, and the theft of a bank card.
The pair were released under investigation.
Sussex Police said later that the arrests were made as part of "Operation Harp" during April and early May, which involved the Chichester Neighbourhood Policing Team along with the force's recently established Specialist Enforcement Team.
