A woman from East Grinstead has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a collision near Ardingly on Wednesday (February 3).
Police said a Kia Stonic collided with a BMW X3 on the B2038, south of Selsfield Common, at around 8.52pm.
Significant damage to both vehicles, but neither driver sustained injury.
According to officers, the road was closed, but was cleared and reopened by 11.30pm.
A 28-year-old woman from East Grinstead, who was driving the Kia, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, taking a vehicle without consent and driving without insurance.
She remained in custody at 8.45am on Thursday.
