Suspected human remains have been discovered near a country road in West Sussex.
Police said forensic specialists are today (January 29) examining the scene close to a layby on the B2141 near Chilgrove, north of Chichester.
It's after they received an alert at 12.35pm on Thursday.
Earlier, they attended the scene to assist in the remains' recovery.
At the moment, officers are treating the discovery as unexplained.
