Police are investigating a suspected kidnapping in Brighton, after a man was seen being forced into a car. Officers said a small black hatchback car was reported to have entered St Martin's Street in the city and pulled up next to the man just after 7.20pm on Thursday (March, 12). According to the force, the driver left the vehicle, assaulted the man and forced him into the car, which then made off towards Lewes Road. Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call 101, quoting Operation Westfield.
