A police chase of a suspected stolen car in West Sussex this morning ended when it turned over after hitting another vehicle.
The pursuit began near Littlehampton soon after 8.30am, when police said they became aware of a suspected stolen vehicle in the town.
Officers spotted the car, a white Toyota Yaris, travelling west on the A27 toward Fontwell.
But the driver failed to stop when asked to — and a chase began.
According to police, the car then collided with a second vehicle on the Portfield Roundabout at Chichester, at 8.45am.
Images from the scene indicate the crash caused the Toyota to flip onto its roof.
Police arrested one man on suspicion of dangerous driving and theft.
He was taken to hospital to be checked over, before being taken into custody.
The member of the public in the second vehicle was not injured.
