Bus passengers in Sussex are being encouraged to 'tweet the fleet' if they notice something isn't quite up to scratch.

Stagecoach South East, which operates buses in Kent and East Sussex, has launched the campaign to help make sure its vehicles are clean and tidy.

Passengers are asked to snap a photo and tweet @StagecoachSE using #TweetthFleet along with the unique five-digit fleet number displayed on posters inside the bus.

Katherine Jones, Operations Manager at the company's Ashford bus depot said:

"We want to do something about it as quick as we can.

"Having a clean and comfortable bus journey is important to our customers. Our depot teams take great pride in making sure things are spick and span, but if there's some litter or something isn't quite right, we're asking our customers to put us in the picture - literally."

The company are logging and tracking every TweettheFleet they get to make sure each one is followed-up.
