A taxi driver has been charged in connection with the rape of a woman in Worthing after a Christmas night out. Ajmal Hazraty, 37, of Haven Way, Newhaven, will appear in court today (Saturday, 4) charged with two offences of raping the 31-year-old woman. The victim was taken home in a taxi during the early hours of December 21 after a Christmas party in Brighton. Police said the taxi driver is alleged to have followed her into her flat in Worthing and raped her.
