A teenage girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a car in Peacehaven on Saturday night (September, 7). Emergency services were called to Phyllis Avenue at 11.05pm after a car mounted the verge and collided with the 16-year-old pedestrian on the pavement. Police said she suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was unhurt, according to police. Officers said his details were taken and he will be interviewed in due course.
