A woman aged 18, who was a passenger in a car north of Hastings, has died following a collision late on Friday night (27 October)
Emergency services were called to the Kent Street section of the A21 at around 11.20pm to reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Police said a white Seat Leon Cupra is understood to have left the carriageway and collided with a tree.
An 18 year old woman, the sole passenger of the vehicle, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Her next of kin have been informed and were being supported by specialist officers today.
The driver — a 27-year-old man — was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
