Teenagers Appears In Court Following Crawley 'Shooting'

An 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody following an armed incident in Crawley.

Students and staff at Crawley College had to be evacuated after shots were heard on Monday. 

Sandijs Dreimanis, who is from the area, is accused of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. 

He appeared in Crawley Crown Court this morning.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court next month.

Police were called to reports of shots being fired at the site in College Road on Monday (16), as More Radio previously reported.
