Three Arrests After Man Knocked Unconscious In Hastings Street Fight

Police in Hastings have taken into custody three people in connection with a fight that left a man unconscious and needing hospital treatment.

Officers say they were called to Queens Road at 1.19am on Sunday morning (July 4), to find the 28-year-old victim with a head injury after he'd been knocked out.

Two men aged 23 and 24, both from St Leonards-on-Sea, were arrested on suspicion of affray and a 28-year-old man from Hastings was arrested on suspicion of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.

He is also suspected of possession of a controlled drug of class B - cannabis.

All three remained in custody on Sunday morning.

Police appealed for witnesses to make reports either online or by calling 101 quoting serial 106 of 04/07.
