Littlehampton Coastguard Rescue team were tasked several times yesterday morning (Tuesday) to reports of unattended boats washing ashore.
Attempts were being made to contact the owners of the vessels - two RIBs and a small fishing vessel - and work to secure and recover them was being made.
Coastguard teams set out the vessel anchors on one of the boats, before being tasked to the next two.
The public is reminded to report any unattended vessel on the coast by calling the Coastguard on 999.
