Police have arrested three people in connection with an attack on a 60-year-old man in Brighton at the weekend. Officers said the victim was reportedly kicked and punched by a group of people around 8.35pm on Sunday (October, 13) and had liquid poured on him. He was taken to hospital to be checked over before being released, according to officers. A 31-year-old man and two women, aged 24 and 32, remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of affray. Inspector Karen Osborn said: "We have arrested three people in connection with the assault and our enquiries are continuing. "We would like to thank those members of the public who contacted us with information which has helped us to move the investigation forward."
