Three teenagers arrested after man found with facial injuries in Newhaven

Three teenagers have been arrested after officers found a man with facial injuries at a reported aggravated burglary in Newhaven last Friday (April, 24). Police said they were called to the incident at an address in Gibbon Road, shortly after 6am. A man in his 20s who was discovered with facial injuries was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment. According to officers, three men were detained in connection with the incident. A 19-year-old man, from Newhaven, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, and was released on conditional bail until May 21. A 16-year-old boy, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, possession of a Class A drug, and possession of a Class B drug; he was released on conditional bail until May 22. A 19-year-old man, from Newhaven, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, possession of a Class A drug, and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs; he was released on conditional bail until May 21.
