Traders are being invited to apply for a pitch at a new monthly market which is set to arrive in Burgess Hill - nearly thirty years after the last one closed.
Burgess Hill Town Council which is co-ordinating the new market, set to arrive in September, would like to hear from local producers, farmers, market traders and businesses who would like to be part of this exciting venture.
The first market will take place on Saturday 12th September 2020.
Leader of Burgess Hill Town Council said:
"Burgess Hill had a proud tradition as a market town until the 1990s which many of its residents remember fondly.
"I am very excited that the Town Council is reviving this tradition and I am sure it is going to be a great success.
"I am looking forward to welcoming stallholders to the town where they will be part of a revival of the town centre that the Town Council is working hard to deliver."
