Timeless classics from the 1960s and 70s will meet 90s Britpop at tribute nights coming up at Eastbourne Bandstand.
The tribute shows are in addition to the Traditional Afternoon Concerts on at the seafront landmark alongside the popular 1812 Proms and Fireworks.
First up on Friday, September 8 is a showcase of classic hits from the Beach Boys, the American rock band formed in California in 1961.
The show features the Beached Boys, who magically capture the original sixties surfing sound of the Beach Boys, providing entertainment that will prove unique.
"With their neatly trimmed harmonies, the Beached Boys have performed the music of the Beach Boys to thousands of people over the years and are still probably the only Beach Boys tribute band to have been joined on stage by original members of the Beach Boys."
The music of 90s rock giants Oasis will be re-lived when tribute band Oasis Maybe appear on stage on Saturday, September 9.
Oasis Maybe recreates the sound, look and feel of the band from the 1994-1997 era performing tracks from Definitely Maybe and What’s the Story Morning Glory with a few famous B-sides thrown in for good measure.
"The show is inspired and drawn from the band’s early gigs and huge stadium shows so music fans can transport themselves back to that magical time in the nineties when Britpop ruled the world."
On the night of Sunday, September 10 Status Quo fans can go on a journey that will take them through a full repertoire of hits with a performance by tribute band Quo-incidence.
"Quo-incidence is an authentic UK tribute to the legendary rockers, and have gigged all the country, faithfully re-creating the distinct Quo sound."
The British rock band have had more hits in the UK than any other band selling more than 120 million records worldwide and appeared on Top of The Pops 106 times.
The song list includes Caroline, Rockin' All Over the World, Whatever You Want, Down Down and many more hits which have spanned several decades.
The Traditional Afternoon Concert on Sunday, September 10 is performed by All Saints Concert Band and the 1812 Proms and Firework Night on Wednesday, September 13 will feature Patcham Silver Band.
