Two arrests have been made in connection with a reported knifepoint robbery of two boys in Hove. Police said the victims, aged 15 and 16, were allegedly approached and threatened by two suspects who stole cash from them before making off. The incident took place in the public toilet area in Dyke Road Park, less than half a mile away from the Cardinal Newman Catholic School on Upper Drive, at around 4pm on Thursday (January, 30). A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery. The elder of the two was released on bail until February 27 and the boy was released under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting serial 1017 of 30/01.
