Two arrested after reported Crawley stabbing leaves man injured

Two people have been arrested following an alleged stabbing in Crawley last night (Thursday, 23). Officers were called to a house in Warren Drive just after 5pm to a report of a violent incident. Police said a man was discovered with a minor injury to his face. He declined medical treatment. Shortly after, two people matching the description of the suspects were spotted and arrested in the town. A 23-year-old man of no fixed address, and a local 17-year-old boy detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm remain in custody. Assistant Chief Constable Julia Chapman said: "The quick-thinking actions of one of our local PCSOs enabled the swift arrest of two suspects in connection with this violent incident. "Our PCSOs are invaluable in the work they do to keep our communities safe and feeling safe."
