Two men hospitalised after people attacked by man outside Eastbourne nightclub

Police in Eastbourne are searching for a man after two men were hospitalised earlier this month. Officers said they want to find Alex Evans, 27, (pictured) in order to interview him about attacks on several people in the town. Three men, aged 18, 20 and 27, and a woman aged 18 were reportedly assaulted outside Cameo nightclub in Langney Road, Eastbourne, at around 3.15am on March 7. Police said the victims were attacked by a man who punched them and knocked them to the ground, rendering two of the men briefly unconscious. Two of the men were taken to hospital for treatment, and the 20-year-old was found to have a broken jaw, according to officers. Evans is described as white, of slim build, and about 6' tall. DC Paul Kelly said: "We also want to speak to anyone who was in the area of the nightclub, perhaps leaving or standing outside at the time. "If you have seen Alex Evans or know where he is, or if you have any other information please contact us" Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting serial 177 of 07/03.
