
Tributes are being paid to two fishermen who are feared to have lost their lives after a vessel sunk off the coast of Newhaven on Saturday.
As previously reported by More Radio, a search was carried out over the weekend by HM Coastguard and the Newhaven RNLI lifeboat after a distress signal was received on Saturday (21) morning.
A man found clinging to a lifebuoy was recovered from the water by the Newhaven RNLI lifeboat.
Two other crew members were aboard the fishing vessel JOANNA C who are still missing.
The search was eventually called off yesterday (Sunday 22) afternoon, at around 2.30pm.

Tributes have been paid to the pair with messages of love and support being shared across the country.
In Newhaven, a memorial has been set up for the fishermen, believed to be Adam Harper and Robert Morley.
Flowers and candles were left on the end of the arm by the lifeboat walkway.
Local residents were invited to come together Wednesday (25) evening at 6.30pm to hold two minutes silence to remember their 'fishermen heroes'.
A number of candles and flowers have been left by a statue to honour those lost at sea in Brixham, Devon (pictured below).
