Two teenagers arrested in connection with Brighton murder investigation

Police have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man's body in Brighton yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 2). Officers said they were called to a property in North Street following a report of concerns for a person. On arrival, the body was discovered, and police said the death of the man is being treated as 'unexplained' at this stage. An 18-year-old man from Greenwich and a 16-year-old boy, of no fixed address, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Both remain in police custody at this stage. Chief Superintendent Nick May said: "We are at the very early stages of an investigation to establish what has happened in this tragic incident." Officers said an investigation is ongoing to identify the body, and enquiries are being conducted in the city centre this morning (Friday, 3).
