Two women who failed drink-driving breath tests in Uckfield this morning (July 2) were both on school runs.
That's according to police who carried out checks in the town earlier.
Officers said the tests were part of a Sussex-wide campaign, "Operation Dragonfly".
One of the drivers caught and detained was released after a further sample, given in custody, proved negative.
Police claimed the episode should have been seen as "a shot across the bows" for the motorist concerned.
But officers said the second driver still tested positive after giving a sample after arrest for evidence.
Roads police added this morning, in social media:
"She'll be charged with drink driving once she's deemed sober enough.
"A court appearance beckons."
