Witness Appeal Following Worthing Stabbings

Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a fight in Worthing's Portland Road last Saturday (July 1).

It happened at around 1.05am on Saturday night. Police attended the scene immediately, with the aim of identifying any suspects, victims and witnesses, and to ensure the safety of the wider public.

Four men were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries; three for stab wounds and a fourth for a head injury.

A 19-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, and released on conditional bail until 30 September.

A 19-year-old man from Worthing was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, and released on conditional bail until 30 September.

A 20-year-old man from Worthing was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, and released on conditional bail until 23 September.
