Witnesses Sought After Aggravated Burglary In Crawley

Witnesses are being sought following an aggravated burglary in Crawley.

The incident took place in Victoria Road at 1.30am where a male was assaulted before fleeing to Prospect Place where a disturbance was reported at a property

At about 2am, the suspect reportedly attempted to enter the property and threatened the occupants with a knife.

An altercation followed, with the suspect making off and police being called.

No serious injuries were reported.

The suspect - described as a white man in his 30s with 5'9'' medium build with short fairish hair.

Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to report online or call 101, quoting 48 of 02/01.
