A woman has been arrested after a man was hit in the face with a glass in Hastings on Saturday (March, 14). Police said the 24-year-old victim was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts to his face after the assault at Club XS, in Prospect Place, at around 2am. A 19-year-old woman, who officers said is known to the victim, was detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. She was released on bail until April 11. Investigator Bernadette Peters said: "We are investigating this serious assault where a man was glassed in a busy nightclub. "If you saw this happen or have any information about it then please contact us." Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting serial 134 of 14/03.
