A woman aged 42 has lost her life, following a house fire early today (October 24) in Hove.
Emergency services were called to a house fire in Kingston Close, Hove, shortly after 5am this morning (24 October).
According to Sussex Police, a female was treated at the scene by paramedics but died a short time later.
Her next of kin have been informed and were being supported on Tuesday evening.
This afternoon, an investigation with the Fire Service was underway, with officers saying its purpose was to fully understand the circumstances behind the incident.
