A 32-year-old woman has been found on Bognor beach with injuries to her face and arms.
Police were called to the area opposite Victoria Road South, near the yacht club, at around 2am on Monday.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing and she was treated at St Richards Hospital in Chichester.
Anyone in the area at the time is being asked to contact police on 101.
