A woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus in Brighton this morning (Wednesday, 11). Paramedics said they were called to a report that a pedestrian had been hit by a bus on the A23, at the junction of London Road and Varndean Road, at around 8.20am. An ambulance and a car attended the scene, where a woman was treated for head injuries. She was then taken to Royal Sussex Hospital for further treatment.
