A young man from Worthing is due in court today (Monday, 2) charged with a number of terrorism offences. Zakaria Yanaouri, 20, of Congreve Road in the town, was charged with five counts of possessing material likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism. He was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Westminster Magistrates Court. Police said the charges are linked to Islamist-related terrorism, following an investigation by Counter Terorrism Policing South East (CTPSE).
