The latest event in Sussex to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic is Worthing Pride. Organisers of Worthing's annual LGBT festival said they've taken the 'tough' decision to postpone the event this year. In a post on Facebook, they said it was a necessary decision and their priority will always be everyone's safety. A new date is already in place for next year's event, it will be held on Saturday July 10, 2021. Ticket holders are not required to do anything, it will be automatically transferred over to the new date; those who want a refund will be sent instructions over email in coming days. Free tickets for the parade will be cancelled and will require re-registering once the tickets go live again. Organisers thanked sponsors, suppliers, traders, acts, production management, medical and security staff; and everyone who bought tickets, and supported them.
