A young boy, believed to be aged seven, remains 'under observation' in hospital after a car collided with him in Worthing yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 7). Police said the child was flown to St George's Hospital in London with 'potentially life-threatening' injuries after the incident took place in Salvington Road just before 4.15pm. Officers said the road was closed until around 6.45pm and the force is now appealing for witnesses.
