Coronavirus: The Latest Figures For Sussex (Monday 12)

Here's the latest update on coronavirus figures for Sussex, including the total number of cases and hospital deaths recorded.

As of Monday (October 12), the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases by Upper Tier Local Authority is:

Brighton and Hove: 1,410 - up 240 since last Monday
East Sussex: 2,330 - up 265 since last Monday
West Sussex: 4,025 - up 373 since last Monday

Sussex Total: 7,765 up 878 since last Monday

The number of cases in several key areas of Sussex, and any change from last Monday (October 5):

Eastbourne: 588- up 33
Worthing: 595 - up 35
Brighton and Hove: 1,410 - up 240
Hastings: 281 - up 53
Lewes: 492 - up 47
Crawley: 613 - up 58
Chichester: 435 - up 52
Arun: 507 - up 37
Horsham: 764 - up 97

Hospital deaths in Sussex, arranged by NHS Trust:

Brighton and Sussex University Hospital Trust: 149
East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust: 101
Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust: 18
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Foundations Trust: 260
Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: 126 - up 2 from last Monday

Sussex Hospital Trusts Total: 654 - a rise of 2

Death occurences outside hospitals for deaths that occurred up to September 25, but were registered up to October 3:
